Now that' you've joined...
You should check out a few pages. The rules page will inform you of all the rules here!(: Which is pretty nifty, you know? Anyways, after looking at that page, you should check out the cat creation guide, that'll tell you exactly what you need to do to make a character. You must use the skeleton provided there, so make sure you look at that page.^^
Also, if you're interested in having a leader, deputy, or medicine cat position, you'll want to check out this. It will tell you want you need to do, and what the requirements are for a cat with an important position.
After looking at all that, and making your character, take a few seconds to look at the territory boards. They'll be on the Clan boards- they list important landmarks and places in your cat's Clan. Kinda like Owl Tree and Snake Rocks in the book.

SwampClan (1 sub-board) The cats of SwampClan are powerful and smart, with excellent hearing due to the over powering smells of the swamp making scenting hard.
Borders and Beyond (3 sub-boards) Border patrols and border skirmishs occur here. If your cats travel to the Three Stones, a Gathering, or High Den, use the provided sub-forums.
