The land that is patroled by the Clans can prove quite dangerous. There rats, rogues, and even vicious kittypets. All traveling Clan cats are advised to go with caution. Even the short travel to the High Den can become perilous. The only safe neutral ground should be the Three Stones, but with tensions between the Clans sparking more and more conflicts, that may not always be true.
Some of the significant neutral landmarks include the following.
Three Stones is supposedly completely neutral. Three Stones is of course, three stones, gathered together in a clump. It is on these stones that the leaders sit to address the gathered cats at each gathering.
High Den is the place where leaders receive their nine lives, and medicine cats share tongues with StarClan. It is relatively near BirdClan and GrassClan's territories, but it can still be a dangerous journey due to the rats in the area. The High Den is an abandoned Twoleg Den that instead of being on the ground like normal Twoleg Dens, is in a tree. A silvery ball hangs from the ceiling from a tendril, and at moon high it glitters and glows a hundred colors.
The Thunderpath is extremely dangerous. There are less dangerous thunderpaths, that are possible to cross. No cat should ever attempt to cross this thunderpath. It is four monsters wide, and almost always brimming with the horrible monsters. The only safe way to cross it is to follow the binding stream south of SwampClan's territory, until it crosses under the thunderpath.
The Twoleg Place is where all the Twolegs live. There are several kittypets here, and they are not particularly liked. GrassClan will show no mercy to intruders in their territory. Besides kittypets, there are also rogues that wander the Twoleg place, and they can cause even more mischief then the kittypets.
Prey outside the territories varies widely. Towards High Den, there's plenty of rats, mice, and birds. living in the Twoleg place, you'll find mice, rats, and the occasional rabbit.
